RULES:

Scoring – Pairs games are scored on Teams Matchplay Stableford format, regardless of the DAGS daily competition format for that day.

Daily Handicaps – Handicaps “float” throughout the season and finals, as dictated by Brad’s handicap updates issued each week.

Ladder & Finals - 4 points for a win, 2 for a square. Top 4 teams decided on points first, with percentage used to split if needed. Top 4 progress through to a 1st Semi (knockout 3&4), 2nd Semi (double chance 1&2), Prelim and Grand Final.

Drawn Matches - Drawn H&A matches scores are recorded, and 2 pts each awarded. Drawn finals matches are replayed in full at the next opportunity.

Man Down Policy – No replacements. Man down will be given fair chance to recover. Fair chance = the point where a bunch of people are saying “fair suck of the saveloy”. At that point the significant other must play on alone OR that team abandons the comp. In the case of abandonment, walkover 4pts (score 0-0) are awarded to the teams with games remaining against the retirees.

Gimme’s – Pls be conscious there is always a Daily Comp in parallel with pairs matches. So gimme’s should conform to standard DAGS rules, which is 1 putter-head distance.

ENTRY FEE & PRIZEMONEY:

Entry fee is $10 per player. Oracle Insurance Brokers have yet again agreed to sponsor the comp to the tune of $300. That makes a total of $470, so prizemoney distribution for 2026 will, for the first time, extend to 4th place as follows:

·         1st place team = $150 each player and perpetual trophy

·         2nd place team = $50 each player

·         3rd place team = $25 each player

·         4th place team = $10 each player
